Walking Trails in Cardinham

Cardinham is famed for its walking trails, from easy routes for beginners to longer walks that include steep valley climbs and fanastic views.

 Enjoy setting off on one of the four routes below.

Callywith Wood Walk
  • Moderate
Follow this trail and you will be taken on a stroll along good tracks with gradual slopes.
Deviock Walk
  • Moderate
This is a long loop leading off the Lady Vale Walk for those who wish to stretch their legs.
Lady Vale Walk
  • Easy
This is a picturesque all ability route, so everyone should be able to enjoy it including those who visit with wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Wheal Glynn Walk
  • Hard
This is a short walk starting from Lady Vale Bridge leading up to the old lead and silver mine of Wheal Glynn. The old engine house and chimney can still be seen through the trees.
