WalkingThe perfect starting point for a woodland walk. From a gentle stroll around the Superworm Trail with lots to do to longer walks around the picturesque Fairoak or Sherbrook valleys.

Chase Heritage Trail

The Chase Heritage Trail is a linear trail that links Birches Valley to the towns of Rugeley, Hednesford and Cannock, exploring the Chase’s history along the way.
Fairoak Trail
  • Easy
The Fairoak trail is an easy circular trail that takes in the magnificent Fairoak Valley and Pools, a rich and important habitat that is home to many wildlife species.
Ladyhill Trail
  • Easy
The Ladyhill Trail is an easy, mostly flat circular 1 mile trail which is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Sherbrook Trail
  • Moderate
The Sherbrook takes in the picturesque Sherbrook Valley with its mixture of woodlands and open heathland.
