Trail description

The Buzzard trail is the longest of our way-marked trails and explores the depths of the forest through beautiful mixed woodland.

Autumn colour in Wyre forest arboretum. The trail takes you along forest tracks and narrow paths, past majestic old oaks and through a wide range of habitats, as well as the Wyre Arboretum. Follow the red way markers from the Wyre Cafe.

The trail is very popular with runners, and uses a network of tracks and roads of varying surfacing with some steep inclines and declines, so it's great for a true cross-country trail run!

An accompanying Z-fold map is also available from the Forest cafe.

Think the comments above about dogs on leads is a. It excessive. Some dogs are more obidient than others. If yours isn't a well behaved and on a lead don't be bitter when others aren't.
