From Monday 18th June to Friday 6th July a large number of heavy vehicles will be using Birches Valley for Forest Live setup and take down so please take extra care during this time. Lady Hill and Gruffalo Orienteering will be closed during these dates.

Our Car Park will close at 3pm on Friday 29th June, Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July. Mountain Bike Trails will be open as normal during this period. If you intend to be on the trails after 3pm alternative car parking will be available at Tackeroo (WS15 2UA).

The Car Park will re-open at 5.00pm for Concert Ticket Holders only.

Amazing bike trails

The midlands premier destination for mountain biking, from relaxing family rides through picturesque valleys to the dedicated singletrack of Follow the Dog and the Monkey Trail for enthusiasts.

Trails for everyone

The prefect starting point for a woodland walk. From a gentle stroll around the Ladyhill Trail with lots to see and do, to longer walks around the picturesque Fairoak or Sherbrook valleys.

Go Ape Tree Top Adventure and Tree Top Junior 

Enjoy adventure high above the forest floor, taking on zip-wires, tarzan swings and a variety of obstacles! Mini-Tarzans can also get in on the action with Go Ape’s Tree Top Junior course (min age 4yrs and min height 1m). For more information and to book visit Go Ape.

Go Ape Forest Segway

Great day out at the chase, we went biking on the trails for the first time. We hired a bike at the birches centre and the staff there couldnt have been more helpful (thanks Simon). It was a great day and we will certainly be going back!
