Bat Walk

Bat Walk event Groundwork South is partnering with the Surrey Bat Group for an exciting, hands-on bat walk, suitable for all the family!

We’ll be taking a slow amble around a 2km circuit through the forest as the sun sets, reaching the spectacular Lodge Pond just as bats come out to forage. Throughout the route, all attendees will get to use bat detectors themselves, with support from our expert guides.

As well as a unique and fun-filled evening, you’ll also come away with new skills and knowledge, from identifying the common bats of the UK to using a bat detector.

Please note that under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

Spaces are now fully booked - 15/3/2018.  If you would like to be added to a reserve list please contact Jennifer.law@groundwork.org.uk
