Bushcraft Survival Skills Weekend

Bushcraft survival essentials with top northern bushcraft teacher, Bruce Ferguson, with over 30 years bushcrafts experience.

You’ll learn the key skills needed to survive: how to build shelters from natural materials for varying conditions, a range of useful knots and a number of different tarp set ups, how to light a fire including techniques for difficult conditions and fire by friction, how to manage a fire and cook on it, you’ll go on a wild food forage, explore plants useful in bushcrafts including medicines and natural cordage and learn how to ensure a supply of safe water. You’ll sleep out in the shelter you build and cook your breakfast on the fire in the morning. Food is not included in the price.

 The activity leader, Bruce Ferguson of Wild North Discovery, is qualified through the Institute for Outdoor Learning to teach bushcrafts to groups and has been involved in bushcrafts and teaching woodland skills for over 30 years.
