Children using telescopes on a star gazing evening eventWe will be your guide taking you on an incredible journey through the constellations and along the Milky Way, while also showing you how to find all sorts of heavenly objects for yourself. We may also see some of the Ursid meteor shower. The shower is named the Ursids because the meteors seem to radiate from the direction of the constellation Ursa Minor in the sky.The Ursids are associated with the comet, 8P/Tuttle, sometimes known as Mechain-Tuttle's Comet.
