Our existing toilet block, forest drive and car park were built over thirty-six years ago to satisfy a growing demand for outdoor recreation and education in a woodland environment. Now, these facilities need improvements to continue to provide for the 350,000 visitors and school children who come to Wendover Woods each year.

The last few years we have supplemented our existing toilet block with individual portaloos. In 2011 we have brought in a temporary toilet building, to enable our visitors to continue to enjoy the woodland over the next five years. However, we really need to plan for better permanent facilities if we are to carry on providing opportunities for friends, families and community groups to make the most of Wendover Woods as a place to meet, play, learn and take exercise.
