From the creators of The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child, the hugely popular children’s story Superworm is in the forest until the end of November 2015.

Stick Man is coming to the forest this winter!
Join Stick Man on his quest to make the family tree! Pick up an activity pack, follow the trail and complete fun activities along the way!
Collect a Stick Man activity pack from the from the Forest Office or Café in the Woods before you set out on your adventure. It comes with lots of fun items including pipe cleaners to make your very own Stick Man! Packs cost £3.
Stick with us this season and enjoy lots of great value family days out. Discover twiggy trails, giant Gruffalo’s and much more! If you visit the forest regularly check out our annual forest Discovery Pass to make your visits even better value.

Most of the trails within Wendover Woods start and finish close to the central car park. Pick up a leaflet from site or download the map to help you navigate your way around the woods.
We have a family cycle trail which is perfect for exploring the woods by bike.
Enjoy two to three hours of adventure high above the forest floor, taking on Zip Wires, Tarzan Swings and a variety of Crossings. Take a look and book on our Go Ape page.
The Children's Adventurous Play area is set amongst the trees with challenges for children of most ages and abilities.

Great place and lovely walks but please sort out the ladies toilets. The extra toilets in the portacabin have been closed for the last two Sundays and the remaining two are not enough to cope with the number of visitors, particularly as there is only one handwash machine.
