FAMILY PLAYING POO STICKS FROM THE BRIDGE OVER CARDINHAM WATERAt the end of the tree-lined drive a large, open car park greets you. Start your exploration of the forest along the four waymarked trails, listen to the sounds of the surrounding woodland as you sit and enjoy a picnic, or treat yourself to a cream tea in Woods Cafe. Cardinham Water runs close to the car park and thanks to the quiet, peaceful surroundings, provides a home to kingfisher and otter as well as a variety of flowers and plant life.

How to get there:
From Bodmin take the A38 towards Liskeard. 400 metres beyond the Carminnow Cross roundabout follow the brown tourist signs left and then left again into Cardinham Woods.
