Nash Wood

About Nash Wood

Nash Wood car park lies 500 metres off the B4362 Presteigne by-pass. The Wood itself is divided by the England/Wales border. The near by old Iron Age hill forts of Burfa and Wapley give visitor to the area a real sense of borderland history.

How to get there:

Nash Wood is in Nash Wood which is part of Radnor.
From Knighton follow the B4355 to Kington. Approaching Presteigne at the T junction turn left onto the town bypass. Turn right opposite the High School and then bear right at the Forestry Commission parking sign and follow the road through to the car park.
Presteigne is the nearest town or village.

Walking, cycling, wildlife, close to town of Presteigne. Very pleasant mixed woodland.
