A small woodland set within the wider landscape of Machrie Moor.

It overlooks the Kilbrannan Sound to Kintyre.

How to get there:

King's Cave is part of Arran. Blackwaterfoot is the nearest town or village.

Travel north from Blackwaterfoot along the A841 for approximately 1.5 miles, the King's Cave car park is signposted on the left.

not suitable for cycling, very beautiful route with excellent vistas across the Kilbranan Sound.
