Fochabers is the nearest town or village.

WINDING WALKS CAR PARK AND PICNIC AREA NEAR FOCHABERSA very attractive and easily accessible facility with several parking bays under a canopy of mature conifer and beech trees. The starting point for all the waymarked walks and main access point for the cycle trails.

Mammals: On a late summer evening, watch for bats fluttering above the pond close to the car park.

Birds: Look out for tiny coal tits in the conifers, and cheeky chaffinches feeding on crumbs left by picnickers.

How to get there:
By car or on foot, from Fochabers follow the A98 East towards Buckie, the Winding Walks Car park is approximately 1 mile from Fochabers on the right.

Winding Walks car park is the main access point for the trail network, and in particular the following trails:

A maze of waymarked paths wind through the magnificent trees in and around a dramatic steep sided gully. Choose to explore the narrow winding walks paths or try one of the more sedate walks - we know you will enjoy your visit either way.
