VIEW LOOKING OVER LOCH SHIN FROM SOUTH DALCHORKThis is one of the biggest forests in the north, 10,000 hectares. There are beautiful views over Loch Shin. The area is home to a variety of interesting wildlife and rich in archaeological remains.

How to get there:
From Lairg take the A836 North to Tongue. The forest stretches approximately 11 miles along this road.
