About Portree
Portree Forest is a mixed, planted conifer forest on the steep slopes above Loch Portree.
From here there are fantastic views of the Minch, its islands, and across to Torridon on the mainland.
How to get there:
Portree, Bracadale, Dunvegan, Carbost, and Isle Of Skye are the nearest towns or villages.
Portree Forest is west of the A850, one mile south of Portree.
There is a twice daily bus service between Inverness and Portree.
