We have information about Red deer and Roe deer
Birds: Golden eagles soar over the mountains, buzzards nest in the lower slopes. Short-eared, tawny and barn owls take wing at dusk. Ring ouzel, snow bunting, ptarmigan, ravens, red grouse and wheater are on the tops and moors. In the woodland are chaffinch, bullfinch, crossbill, greenfinch, redpoll, twite, sparrowhawks, merlin, cuckoo, spotted-flycatcher and many others. We have information about Golden eagle and White-tailed eagle

How to get there: Either take the summer ferry from Glenelg on the mainland over to Kylerhea. Or, from the A850 on Skye, 3 miles west of the Skye bridge, take the unclassified (and very steep) road to Kylerhea.
