Visit our wildlife exhibition in the visitor centre and see the huge range of wildlife you might see during your visit. We are also on the Galloway Red Kite Trail.
Enjoy a walk
A short walk from the centre takes you to an iron age roundhouse discovered when the Loch was drained 30 years ago. Carry along the path a little further and enjoy a gentle stroll out to Bruce's Stone, with stunning views of Clatteringshaws Loch and the Galloway hills beyond. If you are after a longer walk then head out on the Loch View trail which takes you high above Clatteringshaws to a great view across the loch, well worth the effort.
Call in for information on walks, cycle trails and attractions in the area from our friendly, helpful staff.
Clatteringshaws visitor centre has a pay and display car park.
