MATURE STAND OF SCOTS PINEThis large wood is a great place to explore and is used extensively by local horse riders and dog walkers. A small tearoom is located at the college which is a great place after a long walk though the woods.

Mammals: We have information about Roe deer and Fallow deer

Birds: We have information about Nightjar and Woodlark

Habitats: We have information about Pinewood and Lowland heath

How to get there:
The wood can be access off the A60 and parking is available in the Visitors Car Park at Portland College.
