Raptor Viewpoint

(Average user rating4 unrated 4/5)

A small car park and easy access path lead to the Raptor Viewpoint. This gives fine views over Troutsdale for birdwatching. The site is located high high above a valley in an area that is regularly used by passing birds of prey. There are seats at the site. A 'log' of sightings is maintained in a box on the end of one of the seats.

How to get there:

Raptor Viewpoint is in Wykeham Forest.
Leave A170 at Wykeham for North Moor. Continue for approximately four and a half miles until you reach a 'T' junction (Highwood Brow). Turn left and follow the road for about a third of a mile. The car park is on the right hand side of the road.
Wykeham is the nearest town or village.
