A SUNNY GLADE IN MATURE SITKA SPRUCESpectacular views are assured when you reach the end of the Mamhead All Ability Trail, a short 1km walk to an obelisk and viewpoint, suitable for people of all ages and abilities. The viewpoint overlooks the Exe Estuary : a wonderful sanctuary for migrating birds.

Birds: Listen carefully as you follow the trail : there are lots of woodland birds to be heard in the trees adjacent to the trail.

How to get there:
Travelling by car on the A380 turn off at the top of Telegraph Hill towards Starcross. Take the first right turn and the car park is located half a mile further along on the left hand side.
