GROUP PICNICKING IN BOGLE CRAG PICNIC AREAMidway between the Visitor Centre and the village of Satterthwaite, the car park at Bogle Crag is the starting point for 3 cicular walks which start and finish in ancient broadleaf woodland.

Mammals: We have information about Red squirrel, Red deer and Roe deer

Habitats: Over 250ha of upland oakwood criss crossed by waymarked trails from which you can see Pied Fly Catchers and Red Deer. We have information about Upland oakwood

How to get there:
From Grizedale Visitor Centre head south on the minor road to Satterthwaite. First turning on the left about 1 mile south of the Visitor Centre.
