Accessibility for recreation |
The area of woodland with public access for recreation has increased through the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (England and Wales) and the Land Reform Act 2000 (Scotland). The area with recreational use as a main management goal has increased as more facilities are developed and new community woodlands are created.
