Cilgwyn

About Cilgwyn

Cilgwyn Forest is a small woodland with a pleasant mix of woodlands including areas of Douglas fir, beech and western red cedar. We also offer you a 3km circular walk. Although the walk is short, there ia s 500m long climb to the pond. Keep an eye out for the bluebells in the spring.

How to get there:

Cilgwyn is part of Towy Valley Forests. Llandovery is the nearest town or village.

Take the A4069 (back Road) from Llandovery to Llangadog. After 1 mile turn left along an unclassified road and continue for another mile. At a junction continue straight ahead. The entrance to Cilgwyn forest lies half a mile on the left
