Fauldhouse Forest

About Fauldhouse Forest

Lying between the towns of Fauldhouse and Harthill, the varied Fauldhouse forest occupies ground which was the heart of the local coal mining industry.

The woodland offers quiet seclusion whilst the higher ground offers superb views of the Breich Valley.

There are are several ponds within the forest and a wide range of animal and insect life.

The Forest Cycle Trail offers easy cycling, and there are a number of unwaymarked paths also suitable for cycling, walking and horse riding.

How to get there:

Fauldhouse is the nearest town or village.

Leave the M8 from Junction 4 and take the A705 to Whitburn. Head south on the A706 to Longridge and take the B7010 to Fauldhouse

By train Fauldhouse station is on the Edinburgh to Glasgow Central line.
