About Milton
Milton is an excellent start point for exploring Loch Ard Forest on foot, bicycle or horseback.
You can follow a waymarked walk and cycle route along the south shore of Loch Ard, or simply explore the forest road network.
You can join the Loch Ard family sculpture trails from here.
How to get there:
Milton is in Loch Ard Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
Follow the B829 west from Aberfoyle for a mile and a half. Turn left over the River Forth and onto the forest road.
Follow the signs to a new car park just under a mile into the forest. Additional parking for horseboxes is provided 200 metres further on.
Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.
