About Lemahamish

Have a lazy picnic by the River Forth and enjoy local waymarked walks along the river and through the mature conifers and oakwood of Fairy Knowe.

How to get there:

Lemahamish is in Loch Ard Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
Follow the A81 south from Aberfoyle for two miles then turn onto the minor public road signposted to Gartmore. The entrance to the forest is sign-posted after a further mile.

Follow the signposts along the forest road for about a mile to the forest car park.
Aberfoyle and Gartmore are the nearest towns or villages.
