Explore Sallochy
Follow the way-marked trails or the West Highland Way to explore the beautiful woodlands that cloak the banks of Loch Lomond. This area is really good for wildlife and is protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. Keep a look out and you never know what you might see!
Camping at Sallochy
Sallochy Woodland Camping is now available. You can check availability or book a pitch online. Please note that this campsite is not for large groups of over four adults.
Where willows grow
The name Sallochy doesn't come from 'salach', the Gaelic for dirty, but from 'seileach', willow. Willow had many uses in the old days: people would weave wickerwork baskets, creels, chairs, horse-bridles - and even coffins!

- Minibus/Coach All Day - £12
How to get there:
From Drymen take the B837 for east Loch Lomond and Rowardennan. Sallochy car park is approximately nine miles along this road.
