Ash tree entrance

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Ash tree entrance

The entrance is located near the stumps of two old ash trees where the surfaced path joins the A706 road. A short section of fencing lies on either side of the path.

Two waymarked paths, and a number of informal mown paths start from this point.

How to get there:

Ash tree entrance is in West Forth Woodland.
The entrance is found on the A706 Lanark to Linlithgow road on the southern edge of Forth village.
Parking space is usually available on Longdales Road, beside the main road but please be aware that residents need these spaces as well. To enter the woodland cross the A706 near the bus shelter, being very careful of the fast traffic.
Enter the woodland at the short section of fencing, where you will see a sign saying West Forth.
Forth is the nearest town or village.
