The forest walk leads from this point up into the mixed woodland which gives breathtaking views of the River Tweed and surrounding hills.

There is also an information board and leaflets available at this car park.

The Southern Upland Way can also be accessed from here.

How to get there:

Lindinney Car Park is in Yair which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders.
This car park is adjacent to the A707, approximately four miles north of Selkirk and three miles east of the A72 Galashiels to Walkerburn Road.
Selkirk / Galashiels is the nearest town or village.

Steep climb from riverside, through mixed woodland, brings you on to high level forestry tracks that are well maintained and give great access to the Southern Upland way and 3 Brethren hill top.
