About Upper Cheviot

This is a small car parking area giving access to Note o' the Gate trail and the Hyndlee Hike.

There is also access to the Circular MTB cycling route.

How to get there:

Upper Cheviot is in Hyndlee Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders.
From Hawick, head to Bonchester Bridge on the A6088. Turn right on to the B6357 south towards Newcastleton for approximately four miles, past Hell's Hole, Hyndlee forest entrance and Piet's Nest car park.
Upper Cheviot is on the right-hand side along the forest road.
Hawick and Bonchester Bridge & Newcastleton are the nearest towns or villages.
