About Glentress Forest
Please note, due to construction of the new Go Ape adventure course, weekday diversions will be in place on trails throughout Glentress from Tuesday 29th May 2012. The following trail sections will be diverted Mon-Fri until 13th June 2012 but will remain open at weekends. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Partial sections of Buzzard's Nest Trail
Glen Trail - partial closures of Dougie Bank.
Diversions will be in place to direct walkers and bikers.
Glentress is the top visitor attraction in the Scottish Borders, with approximately 50 miles of mountain bike trails for all skill levels. There are 12 miles of walking trails and opportunities for horse riding and orienteering.
Glentress Peel
Glentress Peel, which opened in Summer 2011, is the gateway to Tweed Valley Forest Park and Glentress Forest. For full details of the facilities at the Peel, including cafe, bike hire and wildlife viewing, see the Glentress Peel pages.

How to get there:
Glentress Forest is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.
Take the A72 east from Peebles for approximately one and a half miles. The entrance is on the left.
Please follow the signs for Glentress Peel, Falla Brae or Buzzard’s Nest car parks. There are also two overflow car parks which are opened at peak times.
