About Rannoch

Wolves, Whisky and Wildmen

Follow gentle paths alongside roaring burns or hike up a gorge-side trail with inspiring views over the Blackwood of Rannoch.

In Rannoch Forest you’ll see native trees including the doughty oak, shimmering aspen, graceful birch and tough hazel. There’s a stand of ancient Scots pine, with their reddish trunks, near Airigh nan Cuileag and watch for three red animals – deer, squirrel and pine marten.

I think that we Scots are being let down by the Commission. Smartphone apps for Wales and England but not for Scotland. Absolute rubbish, shame on you.

Yes, something we're looking at doing in the future when resources allow.
