About Kinnoull Hill

A haven for people and wildlife next to the city

No visitor to Perth can say they have seen its real beauty until they have climbed Kinnoull Hill and feasted their eyes upon the panorama before them.

Kinnoull Hill sits 222m above sea level. From the cliff tops at the summit, you will see magnificent views stretching across Perth, the Tay estuary and through Fife to the Lomond Hills. Looking north, the views extend over the Highlands from Ben More in the west and Lochnagar amongst the Cairngorms in the north east.

How to get there:

Kinnoull Hill is in Tay Forest District.
From Bridgend (across the Perth Bridge from Perth), go directly up Muirhall road for 1.5 miles to the car park, which is signed on the right.
Perth is the nearest town or village.
