About Dalerb

Where the Capercaillie Roam

Above Dalerb tower, one of Scotland’s most iconic animals shelter on the tree-covered slopes. Capercaillie have lived on Drummond hill since they were reintroduced to Scotland in 1837. They had become extinct across the country during the 18th century.

At Dalerb you can enjoy views across Loch Tay from the picnic site and watch out for the osprey fishing!
