Dyemill

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Dyemill

This wood is on the site of an old water-driven mill involved with the finishing of woven cloth.

Contrasting walks allow you to enjoy a landscape rich in both natural and archaeological heritage. You can enjoy walks out on to the open moorland at Urie Loch.

How to get there:

Dyemill is part of Arran. Lamlash is the nearest town or village.

Take the A841 heading south from Lamlash. After one mile, turn right at Monamore Bridge onto the minor road signposted Kilmory. The entrance is on the left-hand side, half a kilometre along the road.
