Shin Falls

About Shin Falls

All the walks start from the Falls of Shin Visitor Centre. The Riverside Walk runs through the forest before following the River Shin back to the salmon leap viewpoint spur. West of the centre are two loops walks.

This large car park is suitable for coaches.

How to get there:

Shin Falls is in Achany which is part of Sutherland.
Take the A839 west of Lairg. About half a mile out of the village turn left down the B864, following signs for Shin Falls.
Lairg is the nearest town or village.
