About Glen Garry Native Pine Wood
Please note, Alt na Cailliche long path and Ciste Dubh Path are currently closed due to harvesting and fallen trees. (Updated 20th April 2012)
The pinewoods are part of the Caledonian Reserves that have been designated by Europe for protection and restoration. The pinewood is part of the larger Glengarry Forest area and as such is surrounded by other tree species including broadleaves and conifers.
How to get there:
Invergarry is the nearest town or village.
Invergarry is situated at the junction of the A82 and the A87. It is approximately 25 miles north of Fort William and 43 miles south of Inverness.
Once in Invergarry follow the road through for about two miles and you will see our signs. The entrance is on the left.
