Culloden Car Park

About Culloden Car Park

The car park is situated in among mature Scots Pine trees, on the edge of Culloden Wood beside Tower Road in the village of Smithton, some five miles east of Inverness.

The Yellow and Red walks heads from the car park into the forest. See the activities section on this page for more information.

Please be aware of tree thinning in the area until the end of May, and obey all signs.

 

How to get there:

Culloden Car Park is in Culloden Wood.
At the BP petrol station on the main access road into Smithton and Culloden, turn right at the traffic lights onto Tower Road.
Go 100 metres beyond the Inverness Forest District Office and turn left into the car park.
Culloden is the nearest town or village.
