About Port Clair

Port Clair is a mixed planted conifer forest on the slopes overlooking the southern end of Loch Ness.

There are stands of magnificent, mature Douglas fir trees which, along with other areas, are being managed as 'continuous cover forests'. There are spectacular views over the Great Glen from Port Clair.

How to get there:

Port Clair is part of Great Glen Forest. Fort Augustus, Invermoriston, Drumnadrochit, and Inverness are the nearest towns or villages.

Port Clair forest is adjacent to the A82 between Fort Augustus and Invermoriston.

The Inverness to Fort Augustus bus service stops at the villages along the route and will stop on request at other suitable stopping places.
