About Torr Dhuin Carpark

Torr Dhuin is a small, secluded carpark in a very tranquil part of the forest.

There are two waymarked walks leading off from here and the opportunity to make longer walks using the forest roads as well.

How to get there:

Torr Dhuin Carpark is in Auchteraw which is part of Great Glen Forest.
From the A82, at or just north of Fort Augustus, take the unclassified roads to Jenkins Park and Auchteraw.
Go through Jenkins Park and continue along the road, passing the left fork that goes to Fort Augustus District Office, for about two miles. Then, follow signs that will direct you onto a forest road and to the carpark.
There is a bus service from Inverness to Fort Augustus that will get you as far as the A82.
Fort Augustus, Invermoriston, Foyers, Drumnadrochit, and Inverness are the nearest towns or villages.
