About Cologin car park

Access to Cologin Wood is through Cologin car park, which is located beside the Barn Bar and self-catering chalets. The Cologin Red Trail starts from the car park.

How to get there:

Cologin car park is in Cologin Wood.
From Oban, take the A816 southwards towards Lochgilphead for approximately two miles and then turn right into the minor road to Lerags.
The turning is about 400m past the Oban Livestock Market and is signposted to 'Cologin Chalets'. Follow the single track road into Lerags Glen for about half a mile then turn right for the Cologin car park.
Oban is the nearest town or village.

Walking The Cologin Red Trail, which starts from the car park, is two miles long, and marked by red waymarkers.

Great for a Sunday walk with the dogs - finished up with a pint in the Barn Bar - local musicians playing - excellent atomosphere.
