About River Luachraggan entrance

This is an informal starting place for walking or cycling.

For your own safety, please be aware of timber lorries using the forest roads and observe all prohibition and warning signs.


Please note: There is no longer through access on the Glen Lonan cycle route as it is now closed.


How to get there:

River Luachraggan entrance is in Fearnoch which is part of Fearnoch.
Access is via a wide tarmacked entrance from the A85(T) at the bottom of a hill just east of Fearnoch village.
The track leads to an old quarry currently used as the car park, and is the start for cycle routes and walks.
Fearnoch (0.5 mile) and Taynuilt (2.5 miles) is the nearest town or village.

Had a good walk at Fearnoch just after New Year 2010. The waymarked walks were pretty and the ant hills kept the kids interested!
