About Arrochar

Arrochar village is the departure point for a number of trails in the area - see the activities section on this page for more details.

The village is located at the head of Loch Long and is surrounded by the 'Arrochar Alps', with Ben Narnain, Ben Ime, Ben Vane and Ben Vorlich producing some of the most stunning scenery in the Argyll Forest Park.

The most popular hill in the area is the Cobbler - although not of Munro status its distinctive rocky features make it visible from miles around.

How to get there:

Arrochar is in Arrochar which is part of Argyll Forest Park.
Follow the M8 through Glasgow, onto the A82. Continue to follow the A82 along the shores of Loch Lomond. Then follow the A83 to Arrochar.
