About West Woods Carpark

A small carpark with a few picnic tables set back in the woods. The woods are renowned for their bluebells and can be accessed via an easy access trail.

How to get there:

West Woods Carpark is in West Woods which is part of Marlborough Woodlands.
Via M4, at junction 15 take the A346 to Marlborough, through the high street and on the A4 towards Avebury. Approximately two miles outside Marlborough take a left turn signed Clatford. Drive up to the crossroads and straight over. About one and a half miles along this road the woods and car park are sign posted on the right. (postcode for area SN8 4DY)
Marlborough is the nearest town or village.

Having spent a lovely afternoon in West Woods, may I just comment that we found the signing was not very helpful , particularly coming from the Devizes diection, and would have appreciated more clear direction signs which would have enabled us to arrive sooner rather than have to turn back and ask a pedestrian. .
