About Coatham Wood

Situated in Stockton, inbetween Long-Newton and Egglescliffe, Coatham wood is a newly planted community woodland, with the first trees planted in 1999. There are 2 waymarked routes to help you find your way around the site or just wander along the many mown rides.

How to get there:

Long Newton is the nearest town or village.

By road, Take the road for Urlay Nook and Yarm south from Long Newton. The car park is on the east side of the road about half a mile from the vilge.

Had a great walk today with friends and there dogs, lovely place and dry weather.x Dog poo bins would be appreciated.

hi, loved the walk we were there on sunday and it was very warm, but the place is covered in dog waste! its everywhere, it smells disgusting. please put bins at the road,

Please stop the pick or flick rule for dog poo, its a lovely place being spoilt by dirt everywhere.
