About Kennisham

There is a good chance of spotting red deer as you wander through this coniferous forest. Or go for a longer walk by venturing into adjoining Chargot Woods, and enjoy the spectacular valley views.

How to get there:

Kennisham is part of Brendon Hills. Luxborough, Dunster, and Minehead are the nearest towns or villages.

From Taunton

take the A358 north towards Watchet, turning off at Bishops Lydeard on to the B3224. Follow this road for approx. 15 miles. You will see Kennisham car park on your right.

From Minehead or Tiverton

turn off the A396 at Wheddon Cross on to the B3224. Follow this road for approx. 3 miles. You will see Kennisham car park on your left.
