About Blidworth Woods
Blidworth Woods are located near the southern section of Sherwood Forest and consist of Pine woods and open heath. The undulating topography provides a good terrain for walking and horse riding. Two car parks serve the wood. Longdale Lane has a surfaced trail and refreshment cabin and Blidworth Bottoms has a horse corral and refreshment cabin at busy periods. This wood is used extensively by horse riders throughout the year so please keep your dog under control at all times.
How to get there:
Blidworth is the nearest town or village.
The woods are located west of the A614 (Nottingham to Doncaster Road).
Access is best via car or by Route 6 of the National Cycle route.
