I have walked and cycled at thrunton woods and was wondering if you can camp there.

We did the Castle Hill Walk (orange markers) in Feb 2012 and what a nice walk it was! It's marked as being a "Strenuous" walk, but we strugged to see what was so strenuous about it. Unless it refers to the steep(ish) climb about 3/4 of the way into it. Even though it's 4.75 miles, it didn't seem that long to complete either. Next time it's going to be the 10 mile Four Crags walk (when it's open!)

Spent a lovely day there, arrived at 1100 and left at 1500 and didn't see a single person once we left the car park. Views castle hill and thrunton crags are amazing. As mentioned litter/poo bags in car park are unsightly but don't let spoil the trip.
