One of the forests' most beautiful secluded valleys, with a waymarked walk which never deviates far from the Lewisburn itself. On this route you are never far from the Lewis which gently flows through this secluded valley. Enjoy a family picnic, then take the Lewisburn trail for a peaceful stroll. This is an ideal place for children to play, either paddling in the river or discovering the adventure of the surrounding woods.

Signed of the C200 approx. 3 miles south of Kielder Castle.

Burn fishing permits can be obtained during the fishing season from Kielder Castle £7.50 per day adults and £3.50 per day concessions. |

Early morning is a good time to see Deer in the forest. |

Some of the picnic benches have a barbecue rack fitted. |
