How to get there:

Helmsley is the nearest town or village.

Leave the A170 at the eastern end of Helmsley. Take the minor road signed Carlton.Follow this road for about three miles passing through Carlton. Cow House Bank Car Park is on the left of the road.

visited cowhouse bank top today but found we were swarmed by small red eyed flies.Been here several times before and never seen this.Any advice on what caused this?
